Refunds & Exchanges

KU Gear & Gifts (with the exception of Clearance) may be returned/exchanged up to 30 days from purchase.

Graduation Regalia may be exchanged for another size, but may not be returned.

All Clearance items are Final Sale.

The original, legible cash register receipt/packing slip must be presented. If you have lost your packing slip, please print your order-fulfillment email or contact
jayhawks@ku.edu.

Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment.

Defective merchandise will be replaced up to 30 days from purchase, if the item is in stock.

Exchanges will be processed up to 30 days from purchase, if the item is in stock.

All non-Clearance Tech Shop items (computers, software, calculators, electronic products and accessories) may be returned with the original, legible cash register receipt/packing slip seven days from the date of purchase if packaging is unopened, intact and in new condition.

The following items are ineligible for Return: 

Test study guides, custom-published material, special-order books, magazines and Clearance books.
Books purchased New that display signs of wear.
Clothing that has been worn, cut, altered or washed.
Special occasion greeting cards and/or products after the event has passed.
Consumable items or health and beauty aids in packaging that displays signs of having been tampered with or opened.
Clearance items.
